We are so excited to welcome our 7th and 8th grade students and families back to Lake Elkhorn on August 26 for our Open House!

Notes:

• Please check back on August 25 in case adjustments need to be made based on the most updated CDC, Howard County Health Department, and/or HCPSS guidance. Updated 8/11/2021.  

• Please note: HCPSS has implemented universal indoor mask wearing for all students, teachers, students, and visitors to school buildings.  This applies to all individuals, regardless of vaccination status.  Please remember to bring a mask for every member of your family in attendance, as they will be required in order to attend the open house.

7th and 8th grade students are invited to join us at LEMS for an Open House on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 2:15 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

At the 7th and 8th grade Open House, students will:

• Receive a copy of their schedule and locker information

• Enjoy a self-guided tour of the building

• Practice following their schedules and finding their classrooms

• Practice opening their lockers - we encourage students to bring any personal items that they would like to leave in their lockers in preparation for the first day of school.  

We hope that you have had a safe and enjoyable summer, and we are looking forward to seeing you all soon!  

Please note:  6th grade and newly enrolled students and families will be at LEMS until 2:30 p.m. for an orientation, so the hallways may get a little crowded during the brief overlap time.
