To the parents of LEMS, here is some information from the LEMS newsletter you may need to know:

 

Parent Volunteer Information: Lake Elkhorn welcome parent volunteers to help monitor lunch, recess, and the change of class. If you wish to apply, follow these steps:

"According to HCPSS Board Policy, all parent volunteers must complete a Confidentiality Training Course about protecting the privacy of our students, staff, and schools.  Please complete this course before registering to volunteer at your child's school.  The course takes about 5 minutes to complete, please click on the pdf file to open  Parent Volunteer.pdf  and follow these 3 steps":

Step One: Training Course - click through each page of the training course.

Step Two: Certification of Completion - print the Parent Volunteer Certification Form, and complete.

Step Three: Register to Volunteer - Bring the completed and signed Certification Form to school before or on the day you volunteer.

 

Parent Information Night at Hammond High for parents and students is on January 16 at 7:00 pm.

The Parent Information Night at OMHS passed on January 4, 2018.

 

If you need to, please make sure you verify and update your family file at http://www.hcpss.org/connect/ so HCPSS can use for emergency information.

Select the Family File tab and then clicking on Family File.

The following information is needed:

Student information

Parent/guardian contact

Emergency contacts

Medical information

Arrival/dismissal procedures

Media release (photo approval)

Data confidentiality

PTA/PTSA directory

 

If you and your child had just moved to a new address, please contact the school. You can’t change your address on the Family Files.
