MESA Qualifies for state competition

On March 24, 2017, Lake Elkhorn Middle School was victorious at the MESA competition, making so the MESA team going to the state competition. Science Olympiad Team qualifies for state competition in their first year.

This year Lake Elkhorn began to compete in the Science Olympiad. In their first year they were able to qualify to be eligible to participate in the Maryland State competition. 6th Student Service Learning Project

The 6th grade students are helping out two animal shelters for their Student Service Learning project this year. We are collecting donations for the Howard County Animal Control and Shelter, and K-9 Lifesavers. Please see the list of items, if you would like to donate anything. Students can bring the items and leave them with their first period teacher.

Naviance Survey - Due 3/20

HCPSS middle and high school parents are invited to provide feedback on their use of the Naviance online college and career readiness system. All responses are voluntary and the information collected will be shared with HCPSS school counselors. The survey is open until March 20th.
