Warning about the "Blue Whale Challenge" It is a dangerous game on social media that can ultimately end in tragedy. There are several prevention hotlines you can call if you suspect your child is involved in the "Blue Whale Challenge". Look for 8th grade events, important vaccines for next year and more!

Vaccines needed for 7th grade students include: MCV4 (meningococcal {meningitis} vaccine), Tdap vaccine (Tetanus, Diptheria, Pertussis {whooping cough}). We also have HPV available (optional). These vaccines are needed in addition to current school vaccination requirements. Check with your child's doctor to see if they have already received them. Bring a copy of their record to school.

Summer School Presentation

Lake Elkhorn students have raised and released trout into Lake Elkhorn.

LEMS participated in the Science Olympiads for the first time this year. The team qualified for the state level competition in it's first year.
