Are you interested in being a Carson Scholar? If so, keep reading!
Lake Elkhorn Middle School is able to select one student in grades 6-8 to nominate as the school's Carson Scholar candidate.
Interested students should submit the nomination form by Monday, December 9, 2019 (the deadline was originally December 4, but due to a computer error we extended it until December 9). Lake Elkhorn MS will select one student from those who apply to move forward in the nomination process. The selected student will be notified by December 13, 2019, will need to obtain a teacher letter of recommendation, and complete an additional application by January 10, 2020.
Students in grades 6-8, who have never been selected as a Carson Scholar in the past, may apply.
Students must have a 3.75 GPA or higher in English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and World Language (if taking) courses for this school year’s first quarter report card. See GPA Calculation Rules and Policies.
