“Get Your Glo On,” is a party for middle school students! It is an opportunity for middle school students across Howard County to attend a safe, fun and healthy event. The proceeds from this event will benefit Grassroots, Howard County’s only 24-hour crisis intervention center and homeless shelter. Glo for Grassroots is being presented by the Howard County Horizon Councils student leadership team and is being hosted by the Columbia Gym. Glo for Grassroots is this Saturday, May 21, 7:30-10 p.m.  Carnival games, raffle prizes, dodge ball, DJ, refreshments and glo face paint will be featured. Students are encouraged to wear a white T-shirt for a better glo! Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door the night of the event. This event will be supervised by Columbia Gym staff, adult Horizon Council members, representatives from the Grassroots Board of Directors and the Horizon Council student Glo Committee.  The Columbia Gym is located at 6151 Day Long Lane, Clarksville.
