The Howard County Public School System celebrates American Education Week from November 18 through 22. Lake Elkhorn invites parents and guardians to attend any of their student’s classes during the week to experience a day in the life of a middle school student. All visitors are asked to do the following for their American Education Week visit:

• Upon your arrival, please check in with the front office staff.
• All visitors are asked to bring your I.D. with you to sign-in in the front office.
• It is helpful if you bring a copy of your student’s schedule.
• We do ask you to refrain from taking photos or videos during your visit.
• Upon your departure, please sign out in the front office at the conclusion of your visit.

As parking is limited, we suggest the following grade-level visit schedule:

• November 18 – 19                            8th Grade Families
• November 20 – 21                            7th Grade Families
• November 21 – 22                            6th Grade Families
